Sales Coordinator - Spinning Mill at Tiruppur

Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join a spinning mill located in Tiruppur, specializing in the textile industry. This role involves supporting the sales team by managing customer orders, coordinating production and dispatches, maintaining documentation, and assisting with daily sales activities.

Key Duties

• Communicate with customers to clarify orders, requirements, delivery timelines, and dispatch schedules.
• Generate and maintain sales-related documents such as sales orders, quotations, invoices, and delivery paperwork.
• Collaborate with Production, Stores, Quality, Logistics, and Accounts departments to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Monitor order progress, production plans, stock levels, and dispatches.
• Follow up with customers for order confirmations, payments, shipment updates, and outstanding needs.
• Keep precise sales records, maintain customer databases, and prepare management information system (MIS) reports.
• Address customer inquiries promptly and provide updates on order and delivery statuses.
• Facilitate approvals for samples, ensure quality standards, and adhere to customer specifications when required.
• Support the sales team to guarantee efficient and timely order fulfillment.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate degree in B.Com, BBA, or any other discipline.
• At least 2 years experience in sales coordination or order processing, preferably within a spinning mill or textile environment.
• Understanding of yarn and textile product sales processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, ERP systems, or similar business software.
• Strong abilities in communication, coordination, follow-up, and documentation.
• Fluency in English and Tamil languages.
• Preference will be given to candidates based in or willing to work in Tiruppur.
