Overview
The Sales Coordinator role at Mashreq involves supporting the sales management for loan distribution with a range of responsibilities including system checks, reporting, document management, and coordination with various teams to ensure smooth sales operations and compliance.
Key Duties
- Perform pre-screening and system verification on loan applications to ensure compliance with process and policies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate MIS and tracking for all applications, aiding the National Sales Manager with sales monitoring reports.
- Assist the sales team with processing pay orders and clearance letters at other banks.
- Manage the safe custody (chub management) of documents provided by sales officers and advisors.
- Collaborate with sales teams to prepare mandatory and ad hoc reports such as deferrals, buyouts, and mystery shopping results.
- Monitor and follow up on CRM leads and ONR (online requests) with sales staff.
- Coordinate with the sales teams on pending issues including complaints, mis-selling, or fraud detection and resolution.
- Support error reduction in submission processes to improve efficiency aligning with lean principles.
- Address and promptly resolve customer-related issues highlighted by the sales team to prevent complaints.
- Oversee upkeep and maintenance of all office equipment.
- Ensure compliance following up on mandatory sales staff trainings.
- Facilitate system access for new employees and manage access rights, asset handover, and reconciliation for staff departures.
- Operate within policies and audit requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with Admin, HR, and Operations departments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in sales management within a financial institution.
- Strong stakeholder and people management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of sales management techniques.
- Basic understanding of credit compliance and risk management systems.
- Familiarity with sales operations procedures and policies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, along with proficient computer skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach in dynamic work environments.
