Overview
Unite Students seeks a dedicated Safety Team Member for nighttime shifts in Loughborough. This full-time role operates from 22:00 to 07:00, five nights per week, offering a competitive salary plus bonuses and benefits. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a welcoming and reassuring overnight point of contact for students requiring assistance or support.
- Maintain safety across buildings, responding calmly and effectively to incidents such as fire alarms, noise complaints, and maintenance issues.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful atmosphere, consistently displaying empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Collaborate closely with day and night teams to ensure smooth coordination and effective handovers.
- Ensure communal spaces remain tidy, secure, and well-maintained throughout the night.
- Offer welfare support by recognizing when a student may need help and initiating appropriate action.

Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates warmth and enjoys engaging with others to create a safe environment.
- Maintains composure and confidence when handling unexpected challenges or emergencies.

- Previous experience in customer service or residential environments is advantageous but not essential; the ability to build rapport and provide a welcoming atmosphere is critical.
