Overview

Unite Students seeks a dedicated Safety Team Member for nighttime shifts in Loughborough. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming and reassuring overnight point of contact for students requiring assistance or support.
• Maintain safety across buildings, responding calmly and effectively to incidents such as fire alarms, noise complaints, and maintenance issues.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful atmosphere, consistently displaying empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Collaborate closely with day and night teams to ensure smooth coordination and effective handovers.
• Ensure communal spaces remain tidy, secure, and well-maintained throughout the night.
• Offer welfare support by recognizing when a student may need help and initiating appropriate action.
