The accommodation combines heritage hotel rooms and contemporary one- and two-bedroom apartments, all positioned beachfront. The onsite restaurant, The Larder, serves locally sourced breakfasts, lunches, and dinners daily. Mantra Lorne is proud to host the largest residential conference venue in regional Victoria, accommodating groups up to 600 guests. Role Purpose

As a Room Attendant within the Housekeeping department, your key responsibility is ensuring immaculate cleanliness and attention to detail in guest rooms. Your role extends beyond cleaning tasks to include effective teamwork and guest assistance, offering a memorable hospitality experience.

Main Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of guest rooms including linen changes, bathroom cleaning, and surface wiping to uphold exceptional presentation standards.
• Work within prescribed guidelines to maintain the high standards of cleanliness expected.
• Manage housekeeping trolleys, ensuring they are stock replenished and kept orderly.
• Handle cleaning products safely, following all relevant safety protocols.
• Maintain guest privacy and security consistently to enhance their comfort.
• Identify and report maintenance issues promptly to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Candidate Profile and Experience

• Previous experience in cleaning or as a room attendant is advantageous.
• Warm and approachable communication style facilitating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues.
• Keen attention to detail with good time management skills and pride in delivering quality work.
• Enjoyment of a physically active role, navigating various indoor and outdoor routes including staircases.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Reliable personal transportation and availability for shift work including weekends and public holidays.
