Retail Store Manager - Jewellery

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Store Manager for our jewellery department, responsible for overseeing the entire store's functions, maximizing sales and profitability, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards in merchandising and inventory control. The manager will also lead and motivate the store team to ensure smooth operations while complying with company policies and security protocols.

Primary Responsibilities

• Achieve and monitor monthly and yearly sales and profitability goals, taking corrective steps to meet targets.
• Boost key metrics such as conversion rates, average billing amounts, customer retention, and acquisition.
• Promote a variety of jewellery products including diamonds, gold, and other high-value items, analyzing sales trends to find growth opportunities.
• Provide a premium, tailored customer experience by effectively managing queries, complaints, and escalations, with follow-ups on inquiries and appointments.
• Lead and motivate the sales and support staff through responsibility allocation, performance tracking, regular briefings, and coaching on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer interaction.
• Ensure the team is well-informed about the specifications, pricing, and policies related to gold, diamonds, and precious stones.
• Adhere to company processes for billing, exchanges, repairs, bookings, and order management, maintaining thorough documentation.
• Oversee jewellery stock custody, movement, verification, reconciliation, and coordination for stock replenishment, promptly reporting discrepancies.
• Implement strict security measures and compliance with SOPs, audit requirements, statutory regulations, and support all audit activities.
• Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards including cleanliness, lighting, and promotional displays in line with company guidelines.
• Use customer relationship management tools to manage databases, follow-ups, engagements, and local sales initiatives.
• Handle reporting duties including sales, operations, attendance, manpower planning, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure smooth store administration.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary range between INR 50,000 to INR 55,000.
