Position Overview
We invite applications for a Planning Coordinator position based in Perth, operating on an 8:6 roster. This is a prime opportunity for a skilled Coordinator to contribute across Planning and Mobilisation activities, supporting the expansion of our on-site teams. Reporting to the Mobilisation and Planning Team Leaders, the role encompasses full-stage involvement from initial planning through to execution during peak operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and internal Warrikal staff to clearly identify job specifics such as workforce requirements, training needs, scheduling, and assets.
- Detect and communicate any potential planning gaps to relevant stakeholders promptly.
- Coordinate with the Recruitment team to meet staffing demands utilizing Warrikal’s planning software.
- Initiate purchase requisitions through internal Warrikal Procurement systems.
- Maintain and update the Job Tracker to oversee essential dates and staffing needs.
- Raise significant changes in scope or resourcing to the Resource Planning Manager before seeking approvals.
- Evaluate incoming workload and coordinate with involved parties to align Warrikal’s resource capabilities accordingly.
- Arrange travel and accommodation adhering strictly to Warrikal Travel policies.
- Prepare and issue worker lists within client-mandated deadlines.
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries and requests.
- Communicate scheduled jobs effectively to personnel through Warrikal’s system platforms.
- Manage daily personnel arrivals and departures with accuracy and punctuality.
- Encourage and facilitate the use of the Warrikal Web App across all employees.
Candidate Profile
- Must have legal eligibility to work within Australia.
- Possess between one and two years of relevant experience in a similar resource sector coordination role.
- Skilled in using training, mobilisation, or planning software including ERMS, SuccessFactors, and INX.
- Familiarity with workforce management or planning tools such as OPMS, IFS, or SAP is preferred.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork abilities and a robust work ethic, with adaptability to evolving work environments.
- Able to thrive in fast-moving, dynamic workplace settings.
- Exhibits excellent organisational capabilities essential for managing mobilisation tasks efficiently.
- Capable of building and sustaining professional relationships with coworkers and external stakeholders.
