This role is located in Galway, Ireland, where the EMEA Shared Sales and Services Center hosts a dynamic, multicultural team fostering strong core values. MathWorks develops transformative technologies widely used in healthcare, environmental protection, autonomous vehicles, and more.
Role Summary
As a Renewal Sales Representative, you will contribute to revenue growth by overseeing customer renewals, reconnecting with lapsed clients, and pursuing new sales opportunities. The position emphasizes building lasting customer relationships and meeting individual and team sales targets within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer renewals proactively, including licensing education and timely renewals.
- Spot upsell and cross-sell possibilities, working with the sales team to complete deals.
- Generate precise quotes, follow up on purchase orders, and address any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and apply strategic territory management, forecasting, and sales collaboration.
- Participate in both local and global projects, supporting ongoing improvements to team processes and customer interaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' relevant work experience, including a minimum of one year in a customer-facing role.
- Between 2 and 4 years of post-graduate experience, with 1 to 2 years involving direct customer engagement.
- English fluency plus proficiency at C1 level in two of the following: French, Italian, Spanish. Additional language skills are advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong phone etiquette and detail orientation.
- Effective prioritization and time management abilities in a fast-paced, sales-driven setting.
