Relief Technician Clonmel Area

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Relief Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Clonmel location. This permanent role entails a 40-hour workweek aligned with store hours, which are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday, with shorter shifts on Sundays. The store team includes a Supervising Pharmacist, Retail Store Manager, Relief Pharmacists, Technicians, and Sales Assistants, operating with a manageable range of products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high accuracy with strong attention to detail during all tasks.
• Prepare and dispense medication under a Pharmacist's supervision with friendliness and professionalism.
• Manage stock levels and place medicine orders to meet the store’s demands.
• Assemble blister packs and handle claim processing and tracking.
• Provide reporting and assist the Pharmacist effectively within a busy dispensary environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy dispensary is beneficial, although newly qualified technicians are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with McLernons MPS system is considered a plus.
• Completion of IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.
