The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for executing Red Bull’s strategy across an assigned set of regions, zones, or banners for a national chain. The role centers on growing volume, market share, and business results while managing distribution, pricing, promotions, and quality points of distribution within the account.

  • Partner with the Head of Account to assess ROI for regional, divisional, and banner-level programs and promotions.
  • Work with Category Management to evaluate ROI for pay-for-space agreements and share learnings with the Channel Lead.
  • Lead post-promotion analysis with the Category team after each program to measure effectiveness.
  • Develop relationships that help secure retailer scan data, basket analysis data, and other insights that guide future strategy and improve understanding of consumer buying behavior.
  • Analyze business and customer sales data thoroughly to set priorities and define focus areas.

Business reviews and stakeholder management

  • Run quarterly business reviews for internal and external stakeholders covering performance, competition, opportunities, and related topics.
  • Share examples of Red Bull marketing activity to highlight the brand’s differentiation versus competitors.
  • Provide energy category insights that influence promotion, pricing, distribution, and merchandising decisions.
  • Build relationships and connections beyond the buyer level within key accounts.

Communication and teamwork

  • Use the right communication channels to keep distributor partners and distributor partner managers informed about regional, zone, and banner programs and initiatives.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary for this position is $92,000 to $138,000 per year, plus cash incentives. Final pay may vary depending on work experience, and the range may change over time.
