Job Overview
The Amazon University Talent Acquisition (AUTA) team is looking for skilled recruiters to support sourcing and hiring Amazon's upcoming leaders from the student talent pool. The position requires building trust and influencing stakeholders independently, planning effectively while prioritizing recruitment goals, managing candidates under tight deadlines, and applying metrics to evaluate recruitment success. The ability to stay composed in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment while excelling in problem-solving is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various Amazon business and recruitment teams to understand student hiring requirements.
- Create innovative sourcing, assessment, and hiring strategies for specialized student roles across Amazon.
- Identify ways to enhance candidate experience and improve scheduling processes.
- Track and manage candidate and campus data, analyze hiring outcomes, and recommend improvements.
- Develop and refine recruitment strategies that support Amazon's long-term growth and establish operational procedures aligned with company goals.
- Work with full lifecycle recruiters, industry hiring teams, and stakeholders to shape an early career talent acquisition strategy.
- Manage business expectations through regular metric reporting and stakeholder communication.
- Design scalable recruiting plans including timelines, deliverables, and tracking methods.
- Engage in special projects such as pilots and process improvements to enhance recruitment operations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience designing candidate sourcing and closing strategies.
- Minimum of 2 years of technical recruiting within high volume, high hiring standard environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in process optimization related to recruitment or equivalent environments.
- Strong analytical capabilities, detail orientation, and excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and deliver measurable results.
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities effectively.
- Proven track record of collaborating well across cross-functional teams and engaging with all organizational levels.
- Experience with corporate and university-level recruitment preferred.
