Role overview
Takamol Holding is hiring a Quality Assurance Lead to guide QA efforts in Riyadh. This position focuses on raising testing quality, shaping QA practices, and supporting dependable software delivery across the product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coach the QA team while reinforcing testing standards and proven QA practices.
- Develop and roll out QA approaches, procedures, and test methodologies.
- Examine business and technical specifications to make sure test coverage is complete.
- Create, refine, and run detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Develop, sustain, and enhance automation testing frameworks.
- Carry out functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, API, performance, and UAT support testing.
- Work closely with Development, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams across the SDLC.
- Find, log, prioritize, and confirm defect fixes through to closure.
- Investigate defect root causes and suggest preventive improvements.
- Verify that releases satisfy quality expectations before deployment.
- Prepare QA dashboards, reports, and quality metrics for management review.
- Take part in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning sessions.
- Assist with CI/CD adoption and test automation inside deployment pipelines.
- Improve test effectiveness through automation and process refinement.
- Maintain alignment with organizational quality and security standards.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or comparable ALM platforms.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Working knowledge of Git and version control practices.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of REST APIs and microservices-based systems.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum ways of working.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
- 4 to 5 years of practical technical QA experience.
- Prior responsibility for leading QA activities or mentoring QA engineers.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving Agile environment.
