Role Overview
The QSHE Coordinator will ensure adherence to QSHE management systems regionally, fulfilling consumer and customer needs by enacting QSHE policies, strategies, and procedures.
- Support the execution of QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment) management systems to meet and surpass customer and consumer expectations.
- Contribute to identifying business risks and implementing divisional QSHE strategies to mitigate significant threats.
- Perform internal audits across regional departments aligned with QSHE systems, spotting areas for enhancement and recommending appropriate corrective measures.
- Assist with incident investigations through root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Handle consumer/customer complaints, accident inquiries, recalls, and municipal matters.
- Deliver regional technical training related to QSHE strategies, policies, and protocols to all functional staff.
Requirements
- Preferably hold a bachelor's degree in food science or Health, Safety, and Security (HSS).
- Certified as an ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor by IRCA.
- Possess a NEBOSH Diploma or Occupational Health and Safety certification (CMIOSH).
- Experienced in ISO/HACCP implementation within certified organizations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated skills in integrated QSHE management systems and processes, including implementation and continuous improvement.
- Competent in risk assessment processes, technical report writing, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
