QA/QC Engineer - HDPE/PE Pipe Manufacturing and Extrusion

Overview

CarpeDiem Industries invites applications for the role of QA/QC Engineer specializing in HDPE/PE pipe manufacturing and extrusion. The position is based at the Kinfra Industrial Park in Kollam, Kerala, requiring candidates to be fully on-site. This role is ideal for professionals with substantial hands-on experience in quality assurance within plastic extrusion setups.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the entire Quality Assurance and Quality Control lifecycle specifically for HDPE/PE pipe production.
• Perform systematic inspections of raw materials, stages during manufacturing, and final product batches to ensure adherence to industrial standards.
• Supervise and fine-tune extrusion parameters to preserve product quality and reduce defects.
• Identify and resolve quality-related challenges on the production floor using effective corrective and preventive methods.
• Maintain detailed records including testing outcomes and quality reports.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess 3 to 5 years' direct factory experience in HDPE/PE pipe manufacturing and extrusion processes.
• Hold a degree or diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Have profound knowledge of testing methodologies, laboratory instrumentation, and quality standards applicable to PE/HDPE piping.
• Exhibit strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Available and committed to working full-time at the specified on-site location.

Kinfra Industrial Park, Kollam, Kerala (mandatory on-site presence).
