QA QC Engineer - MEP

Role Overview

The QA QC Engineer - MEP at Larsen & Toubro based in Abu Dhabi is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control processes related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within projects. This role involves comprehensive management of quality documentation, audits, coordination with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with contract and client quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage distribution and control of all quality-related documents for the organization.
• Oversee and monitor various quality activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure quality compliance on behalf of company management.
• Validate that contractors’ quality requirements are clearly communicated and documented with vendors and submittals.
• Participate actively in pre-bid meetings, coordinating project requirements with prospective bidders.
• Represent the company in client quality management meetings.
• Prepare and manage project-specific quality system documentation before project initiation.
• Assess qualifications and training of quality inspection staff to ensure competency.
• Track and manage the resolution of all nonconformance reports issued during the project.
• Evaluate the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and initiate improvements if necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the site QC manager and site QA/QC procurement manager on quality activities.
• Maintain communication concerning quality issues and correspondence with customer representatives.
• Monitor statistical reporting methods related to quality control.
• Address and resolve all customer complaints promptly.
• Ensure archival and control of all project documents upon completion.
