Role Overview and Responsibilities
The role involves managing and nurturing vendor relationships, sourcing and onboarding new suppliers, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and closely monitoring supplier performance. Ensuring the consistent quality and timely delivery of materials is paramount, alongside identifying opportunities to achieve cost efficiencies and minimize risks.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
Candidates should possess strong communication and persuasion skills, proficiency in MS Office applications, and experience in vendor management and negotiation. Effective coordination abilities and a pragmatic mindset towards supplier and cost management are also essential.
