About the Role
Join a globally recognized organization committed to enhancing product excellence and safety across diverse industries. As a Product Certification Auditor, you will play an integral role in conducting product certification assessments to ensure compliance with stringent quality and certification standards. This position is field-based across Ireland and Northern Ireland and involves extensive travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed assessment reports and communicate findings clearly to clients, guiding corrective actions when necessary.
- Make informed recommendations regarding the issuance, re-issuance, or withdrawal of product certificates in adherence to company policies and timelines.
- Manage relationships and accountability for assigned client accounts to maintain excellent service and foster account development.
- Lead and coordinate audit teams, ensuring team members are well-prepared and client relations are positive.
- Collaborate closely with support services to maintain accurate client records and fulfill internal information needs.
- Mentor less experienced auditors, assisting with induction and ongoing coaching.
- Efficiently plan and schedule workloads to optimize time management and revenue activities.
- Undertake a comprehensive onboarding and training program to achieve Lead Assessor status, including standardized audit knowledge assessments.
- Maintain responsibility for a client portfolio by scheduling visits, planning assessments, making travel arrangements, performing audits, and managing reporting outcomes efficiently.
Candidate Profile
- At least 4 years of experience within product manufacturing focusing on quality management or product certification.
- Preferred qualifications in engineering or manufacturing-related disciplines.
- Prior experience conducting product assessments or audits against relevant standards.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the UK.
- Familiarity with quality management systems auditing practices, especially ISO 9001.
- Holding a Lead Auditor 9001 certification is highly advantageous.
