About the Role
We are seeking a Process Technician to join our team for the evening shift in Galway, Ireland. This position involves supporting advanced manufacturing lines that produce life-saving medical devices. The role offers a collaborative environment where technical skills and problem-solving contribute directly to high-quality healthcare products. Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and escalate complex faults to the Engineering or Maintenance departments when needed.
- Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers to analyze and resolve issues relating to scrap rates and product yield associated with machinery and processes.
- Collaborate within a team of about six Technicians and coordinate with Production Core Teams across multiple process areas.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using internal systems; prepare yield reports using PowerPoint; and manage shift handovers through Teams and Excel tools.
- Engage with SQL databases to access and optimize equipment data, with training provided for SQL knowledge.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality standards in all operational tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience or familiarity with electrical or mechanical troubleshooting is a major plus.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn new computer systems and tools; SQL training is included.

Additional Information
This role welcomes candidates with backgrounds in technical troubleshooting, maintenance, or manufacturing support. While prior experience in medical device manufacturing is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
