Key Responsibilities

• Assist the team through the entire M&A process from sourcing to deal closure.
• Continuously evaluate investment prospects through interactions with advisors, banks, and firms.
• Conduct market and competitor research within designated sectors.
• Perform thorough financial and strategic evaluations of potential acquisition targets, including valuation modeling such as business plans, LBO, DCF, and multiples.
• Analyze operational and financial results of portfolio companies to discover future value enhancement strategies.
• Support portfolio oversight and aid in preparing materials for internal committees, including crafting presentations and analyses.

Candidate Profile

• A keen interest in business models, market dynamics, and competition.
• Currently pursuing advanced studies in economics-related disciplines such as business administration, economics, or industrial engineering.
• Previous relevant experience, preferably internships in M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Strategy Consulting, or Transaction Advisory.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with some familiarity with valuation techniques (DCF, LBO, multiples) being an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in both English and German languages.
