Role Overview
In this position, you will manage a defined territory of customers and prospects, create and execute a go-to-market plan, and coordinate with supporting teams such as BDRs, partners, product specialists, and solution consultants. Your main focus will be helping customers succeed, building trusted relationships, and driving new business growth for Protegrity.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer and prospect business goals, assemble and lead virtual internal teams, and present complex solutions clearly in person or through virtual meetings.
- Create account-level and territory-level plans, grow new business, and maintain a strong focus on customer retention and renewals.
- Meet assigned quota targets in line with company goals, standards, and policies, while defining account goals by business unit and planning ways to achieve them.
- Diagnose customer challenges, identify underlying issues, and develop practical solution options.
- Share market insights and customer feedback with cross-functional teams through customer reviews and quarterly business reviews to support product and solution improvements.
- Work with Marketing on account-based marketing initiatives and help develop and publish customer success stories.
- Handle a portfolio of existing enterprise accounts.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise client-facing sales, including exposure to cloud technologies and generative AI concepts.
- Direct experience working with partner ecosystems such as AWS, Microsoft, and Accenture on behalf of customers.
- Proven ability to support onboarding, expansion, and renewals for existing customers, especially in complex enterprise environments with many stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation ability at the C-suite level within large organizations.
- Capability to create urgency in the sales process, execute solution strategies, and manage a healthy pipeline.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Track record of delivering strong revenue growth with highly competitive strategic clients.
- Advanced presentation and communication skills for engaging C-level leaders both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of data protection, privacy, and security.
- Understanding of software sales and SaaS.
- Industry knowledge in financial services, healthcare, or retail.
