Role Purpose

The Preseller position, based in Riyadh, KSA, is integral to the sales team, tasked with maximizing sales volume, minimizing product losses, and achieving distribution goals. The role requires adhering to merchandising standards, ensuring timely collection of account dues, and maintaining exemplary customer service. The Preseller will regularly provide market insights to supervisors to identify new sales opportunities and participate in training to enhance professionalism and customer engagement. Daily reporting and coordination with the supervisor are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell the entire product range to an assigned customer list, meeting or exceeding sales targets and keeping product losses within acceptable limits.
  • Follow the approved customer service frequency and route plans to sustain high customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct daily and weekly inspections of sales vehicles, ensuring cleanliness, roadworthiness, and prompt reporting of defects.
  • Deliver customer orders punctually with full documentation of delivery details.
  • Manage individual customer stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations.
  • Implement and oversee in-store merchandising standards as outlined by the supervisor, coordinating with company merchandisers when available.
  • Keep the supervisor informed about competitive activities in the area served.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of all payments including cheques, cash, and credit sales.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Adhere to safe driving practices and comply with traffic regulations.
  • Meet defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); failure to maintain performance standards may result in disciplinary action.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and account development.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in conflict management and sales planning.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
