Role Overview

The position of Pool Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bardez. The primary responsibility is to oversee the pool area to ensure the safety and satisfaction of guests. Duties include upholding cleanliness standards for the pool deck, loungers, towels, and related amenities. The attendant must report any maintenance concerns promptly. Additionally, the role involves assisting guests with poolside facilities, providing courteous and prompt service, and enforcing pool regulations to maintain order.

The Pool Attendant will collaborate closely with housekeeping and maintenance departments, support basic pool maintenance as directed, and maintain a neat and professional appearance and behavior at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

• Capability to monitor pool safety carefully, adhere to operational procedures, and remain composed when handling minor incidents or emergencies.
• Strong customer service skills characterized by polite communication and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
• Meticulousness in maintaining cleanliness and organization of poolside areas, towels, and equipment according to the resort's standards.
• Physical stamina for standing for long durations, lifting light to moderate loads, and working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
• Prior experience in hospitality, pool operations, or guest service roles is advantageous but not necessary.
• Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of additional local languages is a bonus.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in line with resort needs.
• Holding certifications in basic first aid or lifeguarding is a plus.
