Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced and customer-oriented Pharmacy Counter Assistant for our Declan Hickeys Chemist located at 1 St. Johns Square, Limerick. This pharmacy is among the busiest in the region, where each day brings new challenges and opportunities. As a frontline team member, you will warmly welcome customers, assist them in locating products, and ensure an excellent service experience is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer approachable and supportive customer service, establishing positive relationships.
• Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to maintain smooth daily workflow.
• Oversee inventory management and assist with merchandising to maintain an attractive shop environment.
• Develop comprehensive product knowledge to advise customers effectively.
• Promote in-store pharmacy services to raise customer awareness.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in retail or pharmacy front-of-shop roles is essential.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented work setting.
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Interest and aptitude in merchandising and creative service promotion.
• Possession of an OTC qualification is advantageous.
