Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly, respond to their inquiries, and offer advice on available over-the-counter (OTC) products within authorized limits.
- Support the pharmacist in handling prescriptions by verifying patient details and preparing medicines accurately for dispensing.
- Manage the pharmacy's stock by receiving deliveries, organizing shelves, monitoring expiry dates, and conducting regular and cyclical inventory audits.
- Handle sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, process returns efficiently, and ensure cash drawer records are precise and balanced.
- Follow all applicable legal regulations, company protocols, and safety standards to ensure patient confidentiality and support medication safety procedures.
- Offer basic advice regarding OTC health products and escalate any complex queries to the licensed pharmacist.
- Keep detailed records, maintain correct signage and labeling, assist with inventory documentation, and help prepare for audits.
