About the Role
The Performance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and assessing contractor performance to guarantee adherence to contractual commitments, service level agreements (SLAs), and company standards. This position emphasizes performance tracking, contract oversight, cost regulation, and driving continuous enhancements to promote effective contractor governance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) for contractors, including schedule compliance, budget control, quality assurance, and delivery of services.
- Interpret contractor performance metrics and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and contract results.
- Generate regular performance summaries and visual dashboards for senior management evaluation.
- Examine contractor scopes and verify compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs.
- Ensure contractors consistently follow their contracts, organizational policies, and applicable laws.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contract performance concerns and facilitate corrective measures.
- Perform routine contractor performance evaluations, site inspections, and compliance checks.
- Detect gaps in performance, breaches of compliance, and opportunities for operational advancements.
- Assist with implementing ongoing improvement plans to boost contractor effectiveness.
- Track contractor expenditures against allocated budgets and oversee contract-related financial transactions.
- Review billing documents, change orders, and claims to confirm alignment with contract provisions and company standards.
- Contribute to cost assessments and financial reporting aimed at maximizing contract value and fiscal performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
- At least four years of relevant experience in managing contracts, contractor performance, supplier relationships, or project delivery.
- Prior work experience in the metals, heavy manufacturing, aluminum, industrial, or related sectors is strongly preferred.
Location
This position is based in Ras Al Khair, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia and requires onsite presence.
