Paddock Club Project Manager (Fixed-Term Contract Maternity Cover)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Paddock Club Project Manager based in Brackley, UK, to oversee the management and execution of the Paddock Club suite kits and operations throughout the Formula 1 season. This role requires full responsibility for suite design, operational planning, installation, and ensuring premium hospitality experiences for our guests and partners.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Paddock Club suite kits, including design and floorplan layouts.
• Coordinate pre-production planning activities with key suppliers.
• Maintain inventory of suite assets, handling repairs and maintenance.
• Lead weekly status meetings involving stakeholders, F1 representatives, internal teams, and suppliers.
• Supervise freight logistics and kit routing arrangements.
• Attend races to oversee the suite build, conduct sign-offs, and liaise with Hospitality Race Leads.
• Provide weekly progress reports covering operations, timelines, and financial tracking.
• Manage budgeting processes including forecasting, purchase orders, and financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements through post-event feedback, asset utilization analysis, and the development of setup guides.
• Support planning and on-site execution of gifting programmes.
• Offer additional assistance to the Events Team for off-track event briefs and activations.

Experience and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in live event production, operations, and delivery management.
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and process orientation.
• Outstanding decision-making abilities and sound judgment under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Experience managing external suppliers and agencies effectively.
• Background in brand experience or marketing agencies is considered advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaboratively supporting wider projects.
• Proven capability in building strong working relationships with marketing teams, colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Prior experience in sports and entertainment event operations management is highly desirable, particularly with live event production, design, and installation.

Work Environment and Flexibility

The role combines hybrid and on-site work, requiring travel to approximately 12–15 races per season to facilitate suite setup and sign-off. Flexibility in working hours and a proactive, positive attitude are essential.
