Position Overview

The Operator role is based in Singapore and demands full-time, on-site presence. This position involves managing semiconductor manufacturing machinery by executing production tasks in strict accordance with defined procedures, safety standards, and quality criteria. Daily activities include material handling, basic equipment inspections, production data logging, and identifying/reporting deviations or equipment malfunctions. Operators collaborate closely with team leads and peers to achieve production goals, contribute to process enhancements, and maintain cleanliness and order in the work area. Operators may be required to work in cleanroom environments and follow rotating shift schedules to ensure around-the-clock manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee semiconductor manufacturing equipment following established protocols.
• Load and unload materials for production processes safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning.
• Record production outputs and maintain detailed and accurate documentation.
• Report any machine abnormalities or operational issues promptly.
• Work in coordination with supervisors and teammates to meet daily production targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in the working environment, including adhering to cleanroom standards.
• Work shifts including nights, weekends, or public holidays as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Secondary education completion or vocational/technical certification in a related discipline.
• Ability to follow strict operational procedures, safety norms, and quality standards within a production setting.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operating machinery and performing simple maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in maintaining production and process records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with production teams and supervisors.
• Willingness to perform repetitive physical tasks and to work under cleanroom conditions, following hygiene and gowning protocols.
• Flexibility to adapt to shift work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations for data entry and digital instruction comprehension.
• Previous experience in semiconductor or electronic manufacturing is beneficial but not mandatory.
