Offloading & Issuing Specialist

Role Overview

The Offloading & Issuing Specialist is charged with managing the comprehensive dispatch and receiving activities at the site. This role requires precise preparation of goods, ensuring vehicles are coordinated safely and efficiently, enforcing strict quality and quantity checks, and maintaining cargo security alongside an orderly workspace.

Primary Duties

• Process and handle order documentation such as waybills and requisition forms, coordinating with warehouse zones for timely and accurate goods preparation.
• Manage traffic flow by evaluating site conditions and guiding transport vehicles safely into loading areas in an organized sequence.
• Conduct thorough quality and quantity inspections of goods against waybills, liaising with clients for inspections, and forwarding verification records to supervisors.
• Supervise loading staff, ensuring correct loading and handling methods to reduce product damage during dispatch.
• Maintain a safe, theft-free environment and ensure tools and equipment are neatly organized at shift completion, adhering to housekeeping standards (5S).

Qualifications and Attributes

• Strong proficiency in inventory counting, reconciliation, and stock verification techniques.
• Highly responsible with great attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Effective coordination skills to manage site operations and personnel.
