Role Overview
The Officer, Corporate Partnerships plays a key role in supporting Habitat for Humanity Canada's corporate fundraising initiatives by managing the national corporate partner engagement day program and providing excellent stewardship and engagement experiences. This position involves coordinating engagement events, maintaining strong relationships with corporate sponsors, and ensuring ongoing partner satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main daily contact for corporate partners, their employees, and local Habitat branches regarding scheduling, registrations, and reporting for engagement days.
- Build and nurture solid relationships with corporate partners through responsive, consistent, and professional service.
- Collaborate with local Habitat staff to coordinate event scheduling and registration, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for participants across all types of engagement and locations.
- Keep the fundraising team updated on participation, fulfillment activities, and new opportunities for partner engagement.
- Monitor and report on key metrics for the national engagement program to demonstrate its impact and identify areas for improvement.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders, partners, participants, and users to enhance program effectiveness.
- Maintain and update marketing materials, registration and reporting procedures, and details about partner benefits and recognition.
- Manage and communicate available engagement opportunities across the Habitat network.
- Administer Habitat Canada’s VolunteerHub platform, including user support, setup, and reporting tasks.
- Implement corporate partner benefits, recognition, engagement, and reporting according to partnership agreements.
- Maintain accurate donor records, including interactions, gifts, stewardship communications, and partnership information in the donor database.
- Assist in developing impact reports, stories, and updates that highlight how corporate contributions support the organization's mission.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in donor engagement, stewardship, or account management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, or Fund Development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to set priorities in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
- Proven capacity to foster positive internal relationships and influence without formal authority.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality execution.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other related software tools.
- A genuine passion and empathy for Habitat's mission and cause.
Working Conditions and Additional Information
This position operates primarily during Habitat Canada's regular business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional requirements to attend partner-related events outside normal hours. The role is based onsite in Toronto, Ontario.
Salary range for this position is $58,000 to $62,000 per year. The final salary offer will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
