Network & Collaboration Specialist

About the Role

Our affiliated company, SOOR, is in search of a Network & Collaboration Specialist responsible for managing and supporting network infrastructure along with communication and collaboration platforms to guarantee stable connectivity and efficient communication services.

Core Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and sustain enterprise-level LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data center networking environments.
• Design, deploy, and fine-tune wireless enterprise networks to provide consistent connectivity, extensive coverage, sufficient capacity, and optimal performance.
• Configure and maintain routing and switching hardware and software utilizing Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or comparable platforms.
• Deploy Network Access Control (NAC) solutions for enhancing device authentication, user access control, and segmenting the network securely.
• Set up and troubleshoot VoIP and Unified Communications systems, including IP telephony, SIP protocols, Quality of Service settings, and voice gateway equipment.
• Oversee wireless controllers, access points, RF tuning, roaming functionality, guest wireless networks, and authentication mechanisms.
• Continuously monitor network and voice system performance to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring high uptime.
• Lead projects concerning network infrastructure including connecting branch offices, HQ rollouts, migrations, and updating technologies.
• Create and update network diagrams, documentation, standard operating procedures, and technical guidelines.
• Collaborate with vendors, internet service providers, and other partners to troubleshoot and introduce new technical solutions.
• Provide support for Aruba Wireless Controllers and Huawei Wi-Fi 7 setups.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
• Has between 2 to 5 years of practical experience specializing in enterprise networking and collaboration tools.
• Demonstrates successful track record in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise network infrastructure initiatives.
• Exhibits excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.
• Experience managing similar networking and collaboration projects in large-scale business settings.
