About NAIF
The Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) is a Commonwealth Government funding body designed to support and accelerate infrastructure development projects in northern Australia. It aims to spur economic growth and population increase by fostering private sector investment across diverse industries such as resources, agriculture, water, energy, social infrastructure, transport, and logistics. With a $7 billion allocation, NAIF has committed over $4.3 billion towards 32 projects across Queensland, Northern Territory, and Western Australia, generating public benefits including employment opportunities, regional income boosts, increased business for local suppliers, and positive Indigenous outcomes.
