Responsibilities
- Guide clients through the complete mortgage process from initial enquiry to loan disbursement
- Conduct thorough fact-finding sessions to fully understand financial situations and borrowing aims
- Offer personalized mortgage solutions to diverse client groups including first-time buyers, movers, switchers, investors, and self-builders
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant
- Maintain strong client relationships with regular communication and excellent service delivery
- Coordinate with lenders, legal representatives, valuers, and other parties to ensure smooth progress of mortgage applications
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Mandatory QFA qualification
- Prior experience working as a Mortgage Advisor or Consultant in banking or brokerage settings
- In-depth knowledge of Irish mortgage products and lender criteria
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple applications carefully and efficiently
Preferred Qualifications and Attributes
- Additional certifications such as APA Loans or related financial qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume mortgage brokerage environment
- Strong awareness of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Central Bank Code of Conduct (CPC), and regulatory compliance
- Highly motivated with a genuine passion for assisting customers to achieve homeownership goals
