Middleware Administrator/Lead

About the Role

Reliance Jio is urgently hiring for a Middleware Administrator/Lead role based in Pune. This position offers an opportunity to work with a company renowned for partnering with top global brands and driving business transformation through technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in middleware administration to support and optimize various middleware systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support middleware applications including Nginx, RabbitMQ, Weblogic, Tomcat, Apache, JBOSS, OHS, IIS among others.
• Utilize automation and scripting skills along with DevOps tools such as Ansible and Jenkins to streamline operations.
• Lead technical implementation, maintenance, and performance tuning of complex middleware environments.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of middleware components and provide expert guidance on technology decisions and implementations.
• Collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues within defined service level agreements.
• Analyze thread dumps and heap dumps to diagnose and solve problems.
• Monitor middleware performance using tools such as AppDynamics, OEM, Grafana, Prometheus, and others.
• Track and evaluate service delivery metrics to identify trends and improve service quality.
• Develop best practices and standardized processes to enhance middleware technical delivery.
• Provide high-level support during critical incidents to ensure timely problem resolution.
• Identify and facilitate training and skill development opportunities for team members.
• Lead and mentor the team on automation projects.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in middleware administration, ideally in a large production environment.
• Strong expertise in middleware technologies and components mentioned above.
• Proficiency in automation, scripting, DevOps tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.
• Capability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues using thread dump and heap dump analysis.
• Experience with monitoring tools including AppDynamics, OEM, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Good leadership and mentoring skills to guide team members in technical and automation initiatives.
• Ability to work under defined notice periods (0 to 30 days) for joining.

• Competitive salary range: ₹100,000 to ₹149,999 per month.
