About the Role

This position offers a dynamic chance to oversee the strategy, planning, and delivery of campaigns focused on Hotels, Holidays, and Member Marketing within the Loyalty business. It is a pivotal newly created role within the recently established Centre of Excellence, collaborating closely with Marketing Planning/Partnerships and Campaign Production teams. This is a 12-month fixed-term position located at Qantas's Corporate Campus in Mascot, Sydney.

Qantas Loyalty operates in a fast-paced environment driven by agility and innovation to deliver outstanding results and strengthen member relationships through recognition and rewards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Marketing Manager, you will spearhead best-in-class marketing by executing the Loyalty Marketing calendar for travel portfolios including Qantas Hotels & Holidays and the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. Your duties include designing campaign strategies, leading their execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior team members to cultivate deep campaign management expertise. Managing campaign budgets and ensuring all activities align with financial targets will be part of your role. You will oversee the full lifecycle of integrated campaigns encompassing creative development, project scheduling, media planning, and stakeholder communication. Beyond execution, you will optimize and scale marketing initiatives by using data and research to achieve measurable outcomes.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Have more than five years of experience in marketing or advertising account services with the ability to critically assess marketing materials for strategic alignment, brand consistency, and compliance.
  • Preferably experienced within travel or loyalty program marketing.
  • Demonstrate passion and creativity in developing innovative marketing solutions that deliver business impact.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail while working efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Understand campaign reporting and analysis techniques well.
  • Possess analytical skills and experience working with data analytics, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Effectively engage with internal commercial/product stakeholders and external clients, agencies, and partners.
  • Knowledgeable in handling legal requirements and communicating legal or commercial constraints effectively.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with senior management and external executives.
