Role overview
This position leads training and learning development within the Army Logistics Training Institute (ALTI). The role focuses on strengthening instructional standards, improving lesson content, and weaving strong teaching practices into the Institute’s Learning Management System (LMS) and wider training delivery setup.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the creation and scheduled review of training curricula so that programmes stay aligned with required operational competencies.
- Improve lesson plans, teaching methods, and assessment design to create a more consistent lesson format across units.
- Build and refine teaching frameworks that combine adult learning concepts with blended learning approaches.
- Partner with LMS administrators to embed sound instructional design into digital learning tools and raise the quality of online learning content.
- Support instructors with practical facilitation techniques and promote the use of current learning practices.
- Track training impact using feedback and performance information, and put structured review processes in place.
- Spot opportunities for accreditation, certification, or joint development with Institutes of Higher Learning and industry partners.
- Advise senior leaders on learning improvement plans and help drive training transformation across several units.

Requirements
- A background in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or a closely related discipline.
- Preferably at least 4 years of relevant experience in curriculum design or training management.
- Prior work with LMS platforms or digital learning teams.
- Exposure to external collaboration with Institutes of Higher Learning or industry stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methods.
- Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Good analytical skills and clear communication.
- Collaborative team player with strong instructional expertise and the ability to support learning transformation.
