Job description
About the Role
This position is with EY located in Chennai and Ghansoli. It involves leading or assisting in developing conceptual solutions for customer proposals, focusing on warehouse automation and supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of formal customer proposals including process flow diagrams, KPIs, and 2D/3D facility layouts for complex projects with Engineering team support.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development, Account Management, Launch, and Operational teams throughout solution development in the warehouse domain.
- Design supply chain solutions and independently develop RFQ concepts, progressing them to detailed designs during launch post-award.
- Participate in regional and global initiative development and implementation.
- Manage team members including Account Managers, Managers, and Senior Managers.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Expertise in RFQ processes, automation technologies, and solution design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD to create functional 2D and 3D layouts from inception; 3D design considered advantageous.
- Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint (mandatory).
- Knowledge of process improvement, root cause analysis, and change management.
- Subject Matter Expertise in engineering tools and techniques including MTM, Visio, and SketchUp (preferred).
