  • Foster a safety-conscious culture by ensuring adherence to SOPs and permit-to-work processes.
  • Provide leadership by coaching, training, and scheduling maintenance staff to meet operational needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize guest impact and maintain high service standards.
  • Maintain compliance with legal, fire, and internal safety standards, preparing for audits and inspections.
  • Uphold health and safety policies, reporting hazards, maintaining safe working areas, and participating in emergency drills.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience within hospitality or resort settings.
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
  • Practical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general facility maintenance.
  • Proficiency with ALICE or similar computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems operation and monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant trade certifications such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC qualifications.
  • Knowledge of energy management and sustainability initiatives.

Core Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and complete tasks thoroughly.
  • Organizational discipline in planning, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Competency in working within structured SOPs and compliance frameworks.
  • Clear and professional communication skills with guests, staff, and contractors.
  • High attention to detail especially in safety and guest-facing roles.
  • Ability to manage stress and maintain effectiveness during emergencies or peak times.
  • Technologically literate, comfortable with maintenance systems and building controls.
  • Collaborative team player with ownership of maintenance standards.

Benefits
