As Maintenance Planner, you will report to the Critical Services Manager and be charged with ensuring flawless maintenance operations that guarantee 100% uptime and compliance to client standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devise and oversee asset management services encompassing planning for asset delivery, preventive and corrective maintenance, condition monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure all data center systems are maintained in strict adherence to manufacturer guidelines and corporate standards.
  • Coordinate vendor and contractor activities for maintenance and upgrade initiatives, securing Change Management approvals and minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Maintain and update a 52-week maintenance schedule to systematically plan all maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate data entry within the CMMS, including maintenance reports, fault logs, asset details, and spare parts records.
  • Guarantee all maintenance operations conform to relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Keep thorough documentation and records current to support regulatory audits and certification processes.
  • Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for record keeping and maintenance planning.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and operational units to optimize overall system functionality.
  • Assist the Critical Services Manager with reporting duties and engage in budget planning and controlling cost efficiencies to enhance financial outcomes.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Hold 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance planning within high-stakes environments such as data centers.
  • Demonstrate proficient use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Have proven capability in managing technical teams and 24/7 operational shifts.
  • Exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills suitable for complex maintenance challenges.
  • Attention to detail and precision in documentation and analysis are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and a dynamic work setting.
