About the Role
This opportunity supports important defense and naval missions by leveraging specialized logistics expertise. As a Logistics Analyst - MBPS SME, you will help develop, integrate, and maintain Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation for advanced naval systems. Collaborating closely with government officials and technical teams, your efforts will enhance lifecycle management, operational readiness, and efficiency, directly contributing to mission success. This position requires a strong grasp of Navy logistics, Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems, and defense data platforms. It is a rewarding role for a detail-oriented professional who works well in team-driven, mission-focused environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lifecycle logistics and ILS expertise for HM&E systems and equipment across naval platforms.
- Assist in creating, integrating, and updating ILS documentation as well as certification materials.
- Maintain and update ILS certifications ensuring accuracy and adherence to program standards.
- Analyze logistics data and produce performance metrics and feedback reports.
- Support government logistics program managers and stakeholders directly.
- Compile monthly status reports and summary metrics related to ILS activities.
- Participate in program meetings, reviews, and logistics discussions.
- Use various logistics databases and tools for data management and reporting tasks.
- Contribute to improving processes and strategies for effective lifecycle support.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of logistics experience; alternatively, an Associate’s degree with 6 years or a high school diploma with 9 years of related experience are also acceptable.
- Prior experience involved in ILS certification processes.
- Familiarity with Navy HM&E systems.
- Successful completion of the MBPS CTDM/CSM course.
- Must hold an active Secret security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
- Preferred experience with defense logistics systems such as CDMD-OA, MBPS, NDE, and DECKPLATE.
- Knowledge of Navy supply chain and logistics documentation methods.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with government and technical teams.
- Capability to analyze complex data, generate detailed reports, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
