Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Life Insurance Agent based on-site in Kanpur to work within the Agency channel. The agent will connect with Bank of Baroda's existing and prospective clients, assessing their financial necessities to recommend appropriate life insurance solutions. Responsibilities include client interactions at bank branches and field visits, presenting policy details and benefits, providing quotations, completing new and renewal policy paperwork, collaborating with bank personnel, following up on leads, ensuring timely premium payments, and maintaining accurate records. Agents will also deliver post-sale customer support, address queries, and adhere strictly to company and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in insurance sales and advisory capabilities to effectively guide customers and close policies.
- Knowledge of insurance brokerage and finance to comprehend products, premiums, and long-term planning.
- Strong customer service skills to build trust, resolve queries, and sustain lasting client relations.
- Preferably prior exposure to banking, financial services, or insurance sales with insight into Kanpur's local market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to simplify complex information.
- Minimum education: diploma or bachelor's degree in any field; finance or commerce background preferred.
- Capability to operate on-site, meet set daily targets, and comply with all relevant policies and regulations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with documentation and reporting tools.
