Role Overview

The Legal Operations Associate will play a crucial role in launching and managing multiple venture capital firms internationally, by handling fund formation, governance, compliance, and other legal operational tasks. The position works alongside general partners and supports legal partners in document preparation and fund account management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and ongoing governance of general partners and their investment funds across various jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with legal teams to draft and prepare fund formation and governance documentation.
• Utilize and contribute to the development of the company’s specialized SaaS platform for venture capital firms.
• Manage relationships and communications related to fund client accounts.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Over three years of experience in legal or fund operations, including legal tasks performed under attorney supervision.
• Strong verbal communication and professionalism on phone and video calls.
• High digital proficiency with rapid adaptability to new software.
• Collaborative mindset able to thrive in team environments and maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios.
• Excellent written and oral communication capabilities.
• High emotional intelligence, intuition, and a proactive work approach.
• Ability to develop logical solutions to complex legal and operational problems with attention to detail.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and eagerness to perform well within a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

Desirable Additional Skills

• At least two years of venture capital industry experience.
• Previous work experience at startups or incubators.
• Familiarity with startup financings and multi-lingual abilities.
• Experience working with SaaS platforms.
