About the Position
The Center for Language and Communication (ZSK) offers an extensive range of courses and support services in foreign languages and communication for students from all faculties as well as university staff. The position involves a part-time role of 20 hours per week, starting on October 1, 2026, and is limited until March 31, 2027, serving as a temporary replacement. Remuneration is according to TV-L up to salary group E13.
Responsibilities
- Conducting nine semester hours of instruction during both lecture periods and lecture-free intervals.
- Preparing, delivering, and following up on Spanish language courses.
- Designing, administering, and grading course-related exams.
- Contributing to ongoing tasks related to foreign language education accompanying studies.
- Participating in administrative activities associated with course coordination.
Candidate Profile
- Completed relevant university degree (Master’s, Diploma, Teaching Degree, or equivalent).
- Several years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language at the university level.
- Familiarity with UNIcert® is desirable.
- Proven subject-specific didactic qualifications.
- Spanish proficiency at C2 level.
- German proficiency at least at C1 level.
