About the Role
Australian Country Choice invites motivated and capable employees to express interest in advancing their careers as Leading Hand in Cold Stores. This position reports directly to the Cold Stores Supervisor and is crucial for providing daily leadership and support to the team to meet operational targets, maintain quality, and uphold safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist team members in achieving daily production and operational goals.
- Foster and uphold a strong safety culture within the workplace.
- Manage workflow to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to quality, food safety, and company policies.
- Offer coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to team members.
- Support inventory management, product movement, and dispatch operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the department.
Candidate Profile

- Experience in Cold Stores or similar environments is advantageous.
- Holds a current Forklift Licence (LF).
