About the Role
Join iSEAO Pty Ltd, a company specializing in AI development, as a Language Analyst to contribute to the advancement of their Augmented Artificial Intelligence software, iExpert, designed for insurance and legal document analysis. You will play a key part in analysing, enhancing, and extending the linguistic resources essential for our AI projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Apply detailed grammatical and linguistic theories to dissect and analyze language structures.
- Identify and extract fundamental elements of words and break down sentences into core components.
- Convert your findings into standardized analysis that can be uniformly applied to our linguistic datasets.
- Assist in building and maintaining a custom linguistic corpus using specialized tools.
- Collaborate closely with research and development teams to align linguistic insights.
- Adapt to an evolving linguistic framework as development objectives shift.
Candidate Requirements
- Current or completed studies in linguistics or related language fields.
- Strong interest in data analysis with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from linguistic datasets.
- Preferred experience in interpreting complex legal texts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP function.
- Technological aptitude and eagerness to learn on the job.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Additional Information
This position is based at our office in Chippendale, Sydney, and requires onsite presence. Flexible working days and hours are offered to accommodate balancing work and study commitments, ideally requiring availability at least three days per week.
