Kitchen Porter - Full Time & Part Time

About the Role

BrookLodge is looking for a committed and meticulous Kitchen Porter to become a part of our team. This key position involves maintaining a spotless and well-organized kitchen so that operations run smoothly while following health and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area consistently according to an established cleaning routine.
• Clean kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, grills, freezers, and food prep stations as per cleaning protocols.
• Manage washing of dishes, pots, pans, and also handle laundering of kitchen cloths, aprons, and towels when necessary.
• Properly receive and organize food deliveries to ensure efficient storage and handling.
• Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to support daily kitchen operations and foster a positive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends.
• Strong focus on detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness, including knowledge of COSHH and HACCP standards.
• Able to perform well in a fast-moving work environment.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Previous experience in kitchens or food service environments is advantageous but not a must.
