Calculator Specialist (Kalkulator:in)

Role Overview

Our client, a well-established company specializing in industrial services with global projects and stable revenue growth, is seeking a technically skilled and numerically adept Calculator (Kalkulator:in) based in the Merseburg area.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming customer requests and prepare precise quantity and measurement frameworks, including technical performance descriptions.
• Take full responsibility for cost calculation and develop both technical and commercial offers for complex EMSR projects in industrial plant construction.
• Ensure market-aligned and economically optimal pricing of services considering technical, scheduling, and commercial constraints.
• Serve as the technical contact for clients during the offer phase through to contract signing, coordinating closely with internal departments.
• Collaborate intensively with the purchasing department to select suitable suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contribute actively to improving calculation standards and bid processes within the team.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in an electrical or mechatronic field, such as electrical systems assembly or electronics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferably additional certification as an Electrical Technician or several years of practical experience in the industrial EMSR sector.
• Initial experience in the cost calculation of technical projects or comprehensive experience in installation or construction management within plant engineering.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems alongside business-oriented thinking.
• Methodical, independent, and precise work style combined with a strong service orientation.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
