The Tief- und Rohrleitungsbau Wilhelm Wähler GmbH & Co. KG has been part of the well-known Seier Group for more than a century and is part of a larger family-run network now in its fourth generation. The company is looking to strengthen its team in Barsbüttel with an immediate start, either in part-time or full-time capacity.

Role overview

As a calculator, you will take responsibility for pricing construction services in civil engineering and pipeline construction. The role also includes additional claims-related calculations.

Key tasks

• Prepare independent cost calculations for civil and pipeline construction services, including additional and claim-related work.
• Determine quantities and compile bills of quantities.
• Support contract negotiations with subcontractors and clients.
• Develop assessments of opportunities and risks.

Requirements

• Completed degree in civil engineering, a technician qualification, or a similar background.
• Previous experience in estimating or construction supervision is an advantage.
• Confident use of current computer operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with estimating software is desirable.
• Strong numerical understanding, a structured way of working, and team spirit.
• Independent, responsible, and committed working style.
• High level of dedication and a cooperative mindset.
• Driving licence category B.
