About the Role

Are you passionate about food content and skilled at crafting compelling narratives through short videos? Join our team as a Junior Video Editor where you'll create vibrant video content for the brands Kitchen Stories and Leckerschmecker. Your role involves transforming raw footage into engaging social media videos, ensuring that our stories captivate audiences on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and refine video footage tailored for social media channels, handling vertical and horizontal formats with adjustments including color correction, basic sound editing, and the addition of graphics, text, and subtitles.
• Ensure videos adhere strictly to format standards and brand guidelines to maintain a consistent brand identity.
• Collaborate closely with Video Producers, fellow Editors, Social Media Managers, and the Content Creation Team.
• Deliver high-quality videos promptly for publication.
• Continuously evolve the video editing approach by contributing ideas for contemporary, audience-focused content.
• Occasionally assist as a Video Producer during studio shoots, including pre-production tasks, supporting filming sessions, coordinating production logistics, and overseeing set operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Practical experience with video editing gained through professional work, education, training, or personal projects.
• Proficient user of Adobe Premiere and CapCut; familiar with other Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
• Knowledgeable in camera operations, lighting techniques, and sound engineering.
• Keen sense for visual storytelling, pacing, and modern narrative techniques.
• Strong awareness of social media trends and platform-specific content requirements.
• Organized, dependable, and capable of working independently.
• Fluent in both German and English.
