Junior Compounder - Scent Division

This position is located at Chin Bee, Singapore, and requires onsite presence as part of a motivated, customer-centric team dedicated to driving impactful success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in production activities including fundamental equipment cleaning and handling of materials.
• Support tank charging, blending processes, and perform in-process inspections under guidance.
• Operate Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems and production equipment following training completion.
• Manage packaging tasks and transport materials via Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs), with provided licensing and instruction.
• Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures to maintain safety standards, maximize efficiency, and ensure high product quality.
• Keep the workplace orderly and participate in basic equipment care using 6S and autonomous maintenance methods.
• Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives and carry out duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Secondary education, ITE, or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Fundamental knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and commonly used process instrumentation is desirable.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP will be considered a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with effective basic English communication skills.
• Capable of physically managing loads up to 25 kg independently.

• A strong desire for professional growth and skill development.
• Competence in problem-solving and data analysis; prior exposure to chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or research and development settings is advantageous.
• Possession of forklift or reach truck certification is beneficial.
