IT Technician

About the Role

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join its IT Service Delivery Division in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. This position involves delivering first-level technical assistance to employees and end-users to maintain smooth operation of IT services within the organization.

Primary Duties

• Provide frontline IT support addressing technical issues encountered by staff and users.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and other IT devices.
• Manage network connectivity issues, including internet access and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Assist in software installations, update processes, and antivirus software management.
• Keep accurate records of IT assets and maintain inventory control.
• Promptly handle and resolve IT service desk tickets.
• Monitor routine backups for systems and data integrity checks.
• Ensure adherence to internal IT policies and procedures across the company.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Preferred candidates should have between 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience.

Technical Skills

• Basic proficiency in computer hardware and troubleshooting techniques.
• Foundational knowledge of networking, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi concepts.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office 365 tools.
