IT Support Engineer

About the Role

Noorka Logistics is looking for a dedicated and resourceful IT Support Engineer to join its technology team based in Dubai. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining IT equipment, and supporting business continuity by ensuring reliable technology operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and upkeep desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Offer technical assistance related to hardware, software, OS, and network issues.
• Quickly identify and fix IT problems to reduce downtime.
• Oversee network performance, security protocols, and system stability.
• Administer user accounts, emails, passwords, and access controls.
• Conduct software updates, data backups, and routine preventive maintenance.
• Maintain records for IT assets, licenses, and technical documentation.
• Liaise with external service providers for equipment servicing and technical help.
• Ensure adherence to company IT policies and cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or system administration.
• Proficient in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking concepts, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Knowledgeable about cybersecurity fundamentals, antivirus tools, cloud solutions, and backup methods.
• Experience with network hardware, printers, and managing office IT setups.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication capabilities.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced settings.
